Batching
1st & 2nd Shift
Retrieves various ingredients throughout the facility to aid the kettle loaders in production, follows FEFO, cleans and sanitizes equipment and their workspace, organizes and stores raw materials, utilizes correct lot codes.
Assembler
1st & 2nd Shift
Assembles the four different production lines, operates production equipment, completes line change overs, and cleans filling equipment between products and after daily production is complete.
Kettle Loader
1st & 2nd Shift
Highly Physical Position
Follows procedures to ensure the recipe is loaded into kettles properly and efficiently, follows FEFO, cleans equipment using CIP systems, and cleans their workspace after production is complete.
Operator
1st & 2nd Shift
Operates automated packing machinery while maintaining production flow, ensures cooling system is used and is operating correctly when products require it, keeps the production floor clean & clear of clutter, and completes paperwork for shift.
Production
1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Operates filling & packaging equipment, packs from production lines into cases and palletizes fifty pound cases.
Sanitation
1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
Cleans the production lines, kettles, and equipment during operation and after daily production is complete, and performs light maintenance & janitorial work.
Research & Development
Develops new products which align with today’s global flavor trends, works with customers to match or enhance recipes, and facilitates product scale-up from small batch to full size production.
Quality Assurance
Ensures that materials and components involved in the production process meet safety and quality standards, inspects production machinery and the plant floor for cleanliness, enforces Good Manufacturing Practices with employees, and manages quality audits and HACCP controls.
Administrative
Schedules production, plans workflow, controls inventory, processes orders, promotes good employee relations, performs purchasing, facilitates logistics planning for distribution, and fields consumer complaints.
Warehouse
Manages inventory, pulls orders via pick tickets, picks & stages items as required for upcoming production, ships finished product and receives incoming raw materials.
Shift Supervisor
Leads the day to day operations of their given Shift, maintains the filling & packaging paperwork, minimizes production delays while delegating taskload during downtime, and monitors production KPI’s
